EURMARS Project Successfully Completes Pilot Demonstration in Cyprus
The EURMARS Project has successfully concluded its pilot demonstration in Cyprus, focused on real-world scenarios for search and rescue operations. The event took place in Larnaca, with the invaluable support of the Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC), who hosted and co-organised the activities.
The demonstration brought together project partners, technical teams, and local stakeholders to execute operational scenarios and collect valuable data for further analysis.
Key Highlights:
- Real-time testing of EURMARS technologies in simulated search and rescue scenarios.
- Collaboration with local authorities to ensure realistic operational conditions.
- Collection of rich data to evaluate system performance, identify insights, and refine solutions.
The Cyprus pilot marks a major milestone for the project as we continue to push the boundaries of maritime border surveillance through innovation and cooperation.
We extend our sincere thanks to all partners and participants who contributed to the success of the event and especially to the JRCC in Larnaca for their outstanding support.
